Connor's Hockey update

Connor was in his second year of hockey this year. He has become quite the skater and is very quick. He went after the puck this year and was starting to get a little competitive. He played in 3 tournaments and practiced twice a week.

Zack's hockey update

I just wanted to post some pictures of this years hockey season for the boys. Hockey has had us very busy this winter, we are at the rink for practices 4 nights a week and traveling almost every weekend. Zack's team is very successful this year with only a few losses. He won a tournament in Bay City and is going to state finals in Royal Oak on March 23,24 and 25. His highlight was scoring the tieing goal for a very important game with 0.6 seconds remaining. His defensive skills are outstanding. We also had the best time in Canada where Zack got his dream Warrior stick!!!

Hurricane Lexi

We have a running joke in our family about how Lexi is capable of breaking anything in her path. I will list for you the things I am aware that she has manage to destruct.

1. Her saxophone (broken beyond repair)
2. cellphone (dropped in pool)
3. her grandma's computer
4. her ipod (has since been repaired)
5. grandma's glovebox
6. grandma's flashers on her car (same car as above)
7. her laptop ( i month before warranty expired) this is the latest one

There are many more I am sure . All I know that we will be getting extended warranty and or lifetime guarantee on any future purchases.

Millright family

This is the portrait that we sat for at Old Millcreek. This is a great painting other than I look 80 years old and Shawn looks like Richard Marx.

Our canine companians

Meet our loudest most demanding family members. Missy is maltese/shitzu that has a great personality but will do anything for food. Copper is a papillon/pomeranian who barks at the mailman when he is 2 blocks away, i never have to worry about an intruder for he will warn us before they even hit the driveway. Shawn's offered me money to get rid of this dog but there is something I find lovable about him.

Run Lexi Run

Check out Lexi's Article at Cheboygannews.com about her making the first team all-conference for cross country. She will run in the regional race next tuesday, to see if she qualifies for the state finals. I am so proud of her doing this on the varsity team as a freshman. Oh and for the first time in her entire life she is getting an A in algebra!!!!!! Your on a roll girl keep going!!!

Hard to believe

I knew that this day would finally come, but I just cant grasp the thought that my daughter starts high school in a few weeks. I have faith that she will make the right decisions but at the same time I am scared.
